Called Michael at 5:15 for the first time about my employer forcing me back to work while out on workers comp. He took the time to explain everything to me in that call. Let me preface this review with a brief disclosure, I knew Mike as a friend before ever employing his services. Mike is the kinda guy who gives back to his community. In that vein, I first met Mike through a local sports team he was sponsoring. At that time, I hadn't imagined that I would ever need his services. I just knew him as a friendly face with a track record of supporting charities and communities in the Charlotte area. Fast forward 3 years and I was rear-ended in a rainstorm driving back from a concert with my girlfriend. We were struck from behind going 60+ miles per hour and I lost control of the vehicle. The car spun multiple times, the airbags deployed, and we were in shambles. In the hours following the accident it became clear to me that the injuries, paperwork, and bureaucracies surrounding this accident weren't going to be something I could navigate on my own. Thankfully, I had Mikes number and he started helping us navigate the legal waters of the accidents repercussions. First, his team advised my girlfriend and I in getting the proper medical attention. They gave us the assurance that we needed in order to get ourselves taken care of. Then, they handled the records collection and settlement processes in the background while we were able to continued with recovery, and, eventually, normal life. Accidents are out of your control. They are stressful, painful, and surprisingly long ordeals to go through. Mike and his team really helped ease this burden. I highly recommend his firm to anyone seeking a professional team to represent you as you get back on your feet.

After a couple of phone calls and interacting with Progressive Insurance it became clear to me that I did not have the time or expertise to handle the repairs needed for my vehicle. The goal of Progressive Insurance Representatives that I spoke with was not to make you whole again but to get your claim settled. A total waste of time and they did not disclose my rights. The person I’m working with called to introduce herself at the beginning of the case and left a message. I returned the phone call was told she was busy and never received any follow up. I have submitted bills and receipts as they come in and have responded to all requests for additional documentation in a timely manner but have gotten little in return. They seem to always be waiting for records which have already been sent, or worse, never followed up on by the firm. I’m expected to play intermediary and when I explain that documentation has already been submitted I am told it must have been sent to the wrong email address (the same email address I’m using and the one they provided to the practitioner). I understand this is not a high-profile case for them. But once I became a client, at the very least, I expected it to be handled professionally.

Firm took 2 years to begin on case. Did not keep me updated at all. I saw my original atty once at the beginning and had 3 more PA's take over the case over the span. I talked to someone different each time I called and the each would tell me that they were handling things for me now and I had to repeat things multiple times. I did not receive the compensation I should have. I only received enough to pay my medical bills. I was out the time and travel expense for 2 years of therapy.

This call also ended with him thinking he hung up the phone, however I stayed on the call. I heard him call me stupid and to another employee, because I corrected him. To say he is egotistical and disrespectful is no where near enough. When this conversation was bought to Michael Levine's attention he dismissed the issue and said "He's my brother. What do you want me to do about it?". No apology, he just immediately became defensive. I felt as though I were under attack for feeling offended by his brothers remarks. Started claim December of 2021. Did all the doctor an chiropractor visits. Finished up that around early April 2022. Here it is January 2023 and still waiting for basically nothing after all the pay out too chiropractor and doctors. Very very very slow.
